Our Team Story

Yang, Yuming
Technical Development Engineer

I joined the big family of Volkswagen since 2016 and worked as a R&D engineer in a small team of 4, which is named “Engineering Support Audi”. At that time, the TD department had not been formally established. However, after 5 years, TD has grown into an important department of approx. 40 people that contain design team and testing team who specialize in DSG transmissions, NEV engine and power battery and provide technical support and services to various departments of the company, suppliers and OEM customers. Over the years, VWATJ has invested a great deal of effort to build the EAZ R&D center, and has spent huge sums of money to purchase various experimental equipment for transmissions, which has made a qualitative leap in localized development, pre-development capabilities, and test-manufacturing capabilities. It can be said that I have witnessed the gradual growth of the TD department bit by bit.

" Live positive, Enjoy work, Keep curious"
- Mr. Yang, Yuming, Technical Development Engineer

I joined the big family of Volkswagen since 2016 and worked as a R&D engineer in a small team of 4, which is named "Engineering Support Audi".

Before coming to VWATJ, I worked in two private companies. The working environment of the public is very different from before, which makes me refreshing. The harmonious working atmosphere among colleagues, the full trust of the leaders in the employees, and the mutual respect between people are all impressive. This kind of inclusive culture allows employees to show their talents and show their individuality.

What I want to emphasize is the democratic corporate culture of VWATJ and the equal communication between superiors and subordinates. The superior can listen to the voice of the subordinate, and make decisions and brainstorm. Only a workplace environment that respects each other’s personal dignity and personality can enable employees to speak freely and give full play to their talents without being overcautious.
